Colt had made a significant investment in Oracle technologies. Colt engaged Leading Resolutions to perform an intensive review and remediation programme across its complete Oracle estate as part of its commitment to maintaining high standards of security and confidentiality over customer data.

The Solution

We carried out an intensive review and remediation programme across Colt’s complete Oracle estate, as part of Colt’s commitment to maintaining high standards of security and confidentiality over customer data.

The review commenced with a gap analysis and encompassed an updated training and communications programme, an update of Colt’s group security and internal audit requirements and alignment of the Oracle estate with group security and internal audit requirements.

Colt gained a deeper and fully documented understanding of its application portfolio and a number of areas for improvement were identified within the development and support life-cycle.

Our work reduced Colt’s operational risk profile and delivered a consistent and documented approach to process and policy adherence for the future development of Colt’s Oracle platform. The work was subsequently further validated through the external auditor’s audit.

The Results
