As the current security processes did not sufficiently assure a successful recovery in the case of a major cyber security incident, Leading Resolutions were engaged to conduct a security review to identify the actions required to increase the maturity and operational effectiveness of their approach to cyber security.
Working closely with the internal team, we conducted a detailed security review across the organisation looking at the policies, procedures and standards associated with physical and network security, business continuity & disaster recovery, user & account management, asset management, patch management, data classification & retention and vulnerability management. We recommended a set of actions to move Nelsons from security maturity level 1.
Our final report highlighted a number of immediate remediation actions to quickly establish a more secure environment. We were subsequently engaged to review and update a set of Infosec security policies and standards to improve resilience and industry alignment.
