Viridor is a recycling, renewable energy and waste management company which transforms ‘waste’ into the items and energy society needs.

The Challenge

Viridor was looking to carry out a particularly significant and complex programme of work based on an already selected ERP system. As the planning had already stretched significantly over time and budget, they needed our help to carry out a sensitive replan of all activity.

What We Did

We conducted a robust analysis of the ERP programme plans and replanned the SAP programme with realistic implementation timeframes, revised budget and reduced headcount. 

In addition, we established controls and governance around change requests to reduce the risk of further scope creep and delays.

In addition to our changes to the plans and team, and the additional controls we put in place, we also renegotiated the SAP contract to deliver additional savings. We were subsequently engaged on a retained basis for ongoing assurance during the lifecycle of the programme.
