Leading Resolutions Announced as Finalists in MCA Awards 2025

Leading Resolutions announced as a finalist in the Management Consultancies Association (MCA) 2025 Awards

Shortlisted in the Project Category for Social Value for our collaboration with the European Association for Cardio–Thoracic Surgery (EACTS).

EACTS, a well-respected membership body representing cardiothoracic surgeons across Europe,  needed to rehouse its record of cardiac procedures undertaken across Europe.  It wanted to transfer all data housed in a server of a Midlands hospital, into a new sophisticated digital platform enabling EACTS’ members and industry bodies to access data, examine mortality rates given a set of patient circumstances or criteria, and conduct research.

Leading Resolutions project managed the online data platform build which now houses over 4,000 procedures and 300 variables of medical conditions and patient characteristics. 20 hospitals have signed up to the platform, with more hospitals and medical bodies across Europe set to onboard.  Launched in September 2024 it is already raising the bar internationally, enabling surgeons to learn from best-in-class healthcare.

Without this platform of medical outcomes, there is no universal home for patient outcomes per hospital, per procedure. The only point of comparison is within each respective hospital, dramatically narrowing insight and standards.

Leading Resolutions has been instrumental in helping us to get this project over the line. Like in most product development projects, it was crucial to ensure clear understanding of requirements, while bringing together different stakeholders, driving plans and delivery as well as enabling flexibility to adapt.

The European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery

Expected to triple within six months, the Adult Cardiac Database (ACD)  is setting a new standard for cardiothoracic data management. Hospitals are better equipped to standardise data collection, allowing surgeons to generate actionable insights with unprecedented efficiency.
