Leading homebuilder and civil engineer Osborne sought to implement new technology platforms at the front end of its business to enable future growth. The company turned to Leading Resolutions to help with the migration of the majority of its business processing to an external supplier.

The Solution

External technology service provision was the most practical route to achieving flexible and scalable IT provisioning. We helped Osborne reduce both in terms of in-house provision and in-house personnel with two key activities:

One.

Created and managed a competitive tendering process, which brought potential partners to the project.

Two.

Managed the seamless transition of Osborne’s key business processing systems, including its ERP capability, from internal to external sourcing.

The Results

By identifying and mitigating key internal constraints, we enabled Osborne to rapidly adopt new externally sourced technology platforms while avoiding the significant capital costs normally associated with in-house provision. In-house personnel costs were also reduced without the need to maintain legacy systems.
