Finance IT Migration

Earls Court and Olympia Group (EC&O), who manage exhibition halls, conference centres, corporate event venues and live event venues in Central London, was going through a significant period of transition. It had become a smaller and more focussed business and needed toolsets and processes more appropriate to its needs. The company used an existing finance system and was seeking a more modern, user friendly system appropriate to its new size and scale.

Leading Resolutions held discussions with EC&O and identified that there was no requirement for a bespoke or complex system, as an off the shelf finance solution would be adequate. Leading Resolutions then began a number of steps to facilitate the purchase and integration of the new system. The first was to categorise business requirements into essential, ‘specific to the business and technical & operating system, e.g. the need to use Lotus Notes, and match these requirements to existing products available on the market. This was followed by the supplier selection with a shortlist of suppliers whose solutions best aligned to the requirements being provided along with a list of all software solutions reviewed and the rationale for selection or deselection.

Leading Resolutions provided end to end support on all supplier selection activities, ensuring supplier communications, supplier presentations and contract negotiation was completed in a controlled and governed manner.
