The role

To identify, and implement, potential solutions for a specific client problem or challenge. You will help clients make lasting improvements to their performance and realise their most important goals.

Over the course of each project, you will gather and analyse information, formulate, and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations. You’ll also present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client and Leading Resolutions team members.

Key responsibilities

As a Leading Resolutions Business Analyst you will be responsible for creating new models that support business decisions by working closely with financial reporting and IT teams to establish initiatives and strategies to improve reporting and to optimise costs. You’ll need a strong understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements as well as plenty of experience in forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis combined with understanding of key performance indicators.

Typical activities will include

  • Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Planning and monitoring
  • Variance analysis
  • Pricing
  • Reporting
  • Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders

Key qualifications of the position

  • 10 plus years’ experience of working within a similar role, to include the responsibilities above
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organisation
  • Comfortable with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing together with exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • You will be an analytical thinker
  • Conflict Management and resolution
  • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
